Required License/Registration/CertificationPediatric (RDCS) & Fetal (RDCS) Echocardiography CertificationsPhysical RequirementsBeing able to travel long distances across the enterprise, regularly lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects over 50 lbs, regular exposure to repetitive motion, occasional exposure to radiation, hazardous chemicals, bloodborne/airborne pathogens, cuts and punctures. Regular (1-2x per week) job related travel.ShiftMonday Friday Days (40 hours+/ week).Job SummaryGolisano Children's at UK has an immediate, full time opening for an experienced pediatric and congenital echo lab manager. Golisano Children's is a 188 bed facility with a 90 bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 12 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, 4 bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and 12 bed Progressive Care Unit. Our pediatric echocardiography lab is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography. Our cardiac program is a part of a "one program-two sites" model with Cincinnati Children's Hospital, designed to provide care as close to home as clinically appropriate. The Pediatric Echocardiography Manager will be joining a nationally ranked and growing program.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesExcellent communication skills; customer service focused; problem solving and critical thinking are a must. Fetal Echocardiology certification preferred.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? YesPreferred Education/ExperienceMore than 5 years performing pediatric and congenital echocardiograms.
