About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team within the Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Service.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, helping them to regain independence, improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based assessments, interventions and promoting recovery-oriented practices. There will be scope to explore and master discipline-specific assessments including NDIS assessments, interventions such as sensory approaches and how to coordinate and facilitate a group program.
You will be joining a friendly multidisciplinary team and have an opportunity to learn from other disciplines. Regular structured discipline specific supervision will be provided and there will be opportunity to participate in regular in-services, including discipline specific professional development.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
