Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking two Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Educators to join our team in Illinois.
One Educator will serve northern Illinois and the other will serve southern Illinois. The final candidates must live in one of those areas.
The Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating clinical educational programs, nurse mentoring programs, conferences, in-services, and other associated activities. This is a remote position, requiring extensive travel throughout the assigned region.
Salary range starts at $98,000.
Associate's degree required Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required Bachelor’s degree preferred Three (3) years of experience in training and education Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and modify course curriculum and associated aids Knowledge of nursing education and clinical theory and practice Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint Corrections experience preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
This is a Monday through Friday, salaried position. Travel within the region will be required.
