The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at The Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time physician to join a well-established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatrician interested in inpatient care, teaching, and professional growth within a supportive academic environment.
Clinical and academic responsibilities:
- Inpatient pediatric care and newborn care
- Pediatric sedation and complex care management
- Active teaching of medical students and residents in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics and Family Medicine
Position details and requirements:
- MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Hospital Medicine encouraged but not required
- Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents and other healthcare providers.
