Locums Neonatology Physician in Worcester, Massachusetts - Level II Nursery

Provide inpatient neonatal coverage in a Level II Special Care Nursery with a blend of onsite shifts and beeper call. This assignment also includes teaching responsibilities and attendance at high-risk deliveries.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient Neonatology coverage for premature and critically ill newborns
• Level II Special Care Nursery
• Attend high-risk cesarean sections and neonatal deliveries
• Ventilation management, ECMO, central and arterial lines, exchange transfusions, and other neonatal procedures

Schedule

• Scheduled clinical hours combined with beeper call
• Mix of daytime onsite coverage and overnight call
• Coverage includes 24-hour onsite shifts on select dates
• Assigned patient rounding with call for unassigned patients

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• Board Certified in Neonatology
• PALS certification required
