Join an established Level II NICU team supporting a steady delivery volume with a sustainable, shift-based schedule and an unbeatable coastal lifestyle.

Practice Overview

• Exclusive coverage for an 18-bed Level II NICU (1.1 miles from a Level III partner).
• ~3,300 deliveries/year; average daily NICU census of ~6.
• Full clinical scope: NICU care, high-risk deliveries, prenatal consults, and newborn exams.
• Strong collaboration with NNPs, Pediatric Hospitalists, Respiratory Therapists, and OB Hospitalists.

Schedule

• 24-hour in-house shifts (no traditional home call).
• Choose between a guaranteed 48- or 60-hour workweek.
• Evenly split weekends (~28% of shifts) and holidays. Optional extra shifts available.

Compensation & Benefits

• 3-year employed position with highly competitive, board-aligned pay and annual commitment bonuses.
• Shift incentives: 110% base for extra shifts; 200% base for holidays/emergencies.
• $60,000 sign-on bonus plus full relocation assistance.
• Up to 270 hours PTO annually with twice-yearly buyback options.
• Full benefits: $5k CME allowance, malpractice coverage, health/dental/vision, and 401(k) with 3.5% match.

Candidate Requirements

• Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist skilled in Level II NICU care and high-risk deliveries.
• Ability to handle pediatric ED consults (<30 days old) and ED pediatric codes as needed.
