- Neonatologist Physician - MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center
Description
MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a Neonatologist to serve our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the normal newborn nursery. This full-time position may require flexible scheduling including clinical service time, weekends, holidays, and on call from home. Administrative time may be given for QI projects, unit meetings, resident, PA, and NNP student education, and others.
Qualifications:
- MD Licensure
- Initial board certification in Pediatrics
- Successful completion of a Perinatal/Neonatal Medicine Fellowship Program
- Board certification or eligibility in Perinatal/Neonatal Medicine
- BLS and NRP certification
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a 23-bed, single room level III NICU that admits ~280 newborns a year and takes pride of having neonatal outcomes within the best quartile among Vermont Oxford Network reporting units in the U.S.
